I love shooting concerts, and this time I had the opportunity to shoot Taking Back Sunday. The pictures were going on a blog post for Vans Mexico so all was going to be digital content.
I took 2 of my favorite lenses the Sigma Art 14-24mm f2.8 and the 24-70mm f2.8. Since the concert was in a small venue and I had a press pass I was going to be shooting in front of the stage, these lenses would be perfect for that gig.
I strongly recommend shooting over 1/250 speed and as open as your aperture would allow you on the lens you carry, in my case I had my aperture at f2.8 and my iso at 1600, the good thing about a full frame camera like the 5d mark iv is that it handles noise very well and even at iso 1600 or 3200 the pictures turned out great, here is a couple so you can enjoy. Let me know on my social media or send me an email if you have any questions.
